Simon Freeth is an Executive Director at Bellandaine and a founding member of the practice, with over 28 years of building consultancy and capital expenditure planning experience across Australian and UK property markets. Prior to Bellandaine, Simon held a senior state leadership role at one of Australia’s largest property advisory groups, where he helped build a major building consultancy division delivering 10-year CapEx programmes, technical due diligence, and portfolio advisory services to institutional clients.
Simon’s expertise spans multi-site condition assessment, lifecycle cost modelling, risk classification, and institutional-grade reporting. His portfolio of appointments includes 10-year CapEx programmes across aged care and retirement living assets with significant operational sensitivity and compliance obligations, as well as technical due diligence on major landmark assets and large institutional acquisition portfolios.
Simon joined Bellandaine as a founding member because the firm’s model — senior practitioners directly accountable for every engagement, no delegation to junior staff — matched the standard he had always held his own work to. He has extensive experience in operationally sensitive, occupied environments where clinical-style risk management and zero-disruption delivery are non-negotiable, and brings to every programme the consistency and technical rigour that institutional clients require.
