Stewart Cavin is an Executive Director at Bellandaine and a founding member of the practice, with over 25 years of building consultancy and capital expenditure planning experience across Australian and UK property markets.
Prior to Bellandaine, Stewart held a senior national leadership role at one of Australia’s largest property advisory groups, where he built and led a major building consultancy division delivering 10-year CapEx programmes, technical due diligence, and portfolio advisory services to institutional clients. Stewart’s expertise spans multi-site condition assessment, lifecycle cost modelling, risk classification, and institutional-grade reporting. He has extensive experience in operationally sensitive, occupied asset environments — including aged care, education, hospitality, and specialist facilities — where clinical-style risk management, compliance rigour, and zero-disruption delivery are essential.
His portfolio experience includes landmark national programmes involving multi-site inspections, structured CapEx forecast models, and board-level reporting. Stewart brings to every engagement a directness and clarity that clients working to tight transactional or governance timelines consistently rely upon. His reports are written to be acted on — not filed. On programme-scale engagements, Stewart serves as a principal assessor personally responsible for technical quality and consistency across the portfolio.
